I must agree with u Scot, to lead is more of facilitation, and not a driver. Its almost as if you have to give the student a chance to drive, maybe on cruise control, but drive none the less lol. Yes keeping a positive attitude is important and putting personal emotions aside is important as it effects others around you.
Although this is one part of the book I cannot totally agree with, because sometimes emotions if used positively can bring flavor, or a certain element of understanding or feeling to a subject, and gives a topic more meaning.
But definitely it is true, it better not to take credit for student hard work.
